Admissions
Cornerstone School is a co-educational day special school for approximately 90 pupils aged 11-19 whose primary need is Autism and who have linked presentation of specific social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Cornerstone students are working at or around age related expectations academically, emotionally and socially. However they may have specific sensory needs, high anxiety, eating disorders, or other SEMH conditions linked to their autism.
Trinitas Academy Trust (TAT) is the admissions authority for Cornerstone school. The school will be honest with parents and the local authority (LA) in all communications concerning admission to the school, in line with our Trust vision that all children deserve the best education; this means that Cornerstone may not be the right setting for all Autistic pupils with SEMH needs.
